Dal 15 al 20 Marzo 2026, sei alunni dell’IIS Leonardo Da Vinci di Aversa, accompagnati dai docenti Federica Cuoci e Francesco Colamatteo, hanno partecipato alla seconda mobilità prevista dal progetto Erasmus+ KA220-SCH-9A235DB6 Mind Matters: Cultivating Well-Being Across Borders, che si è svolta a Prešov, Slovacchia.
I nostri ragazzi, così come quelli provenienti da Spagna e Repubblica Ceca, sono stati ospitati presso le famiglie degli studenti slovacchi, alcuni dei quali sono già stati in Italia lo scorso gennaio, per la prima mobilità del progetto.
Le attività alle quali hanno preso parte i nostri alunni sono state organizzate dalle docenti Katarína Dancáková e Silvia Krzáková, referenti Erasmus della scuola ospitante, le quali hanno accolto calorosamente tutti gli alunni e docenti.
Il primo giorno essi hanno assistito ad una breve presentazione della scuola, seguita da attività di ice-breaking e team building, curate dalle docenti Zuzana Dlugošová e Zuzana Kolpáková. In seguito le docenti hanno proposto un percorso di riflessione, dal titolo Who Am I? basato sulle tematiche della consapevolezza di sé e gestione delle emozioni. Dopo pranzo, gli alunni e i docenti hanno visitato la cittadina di Prešov e i suoi monumenti principali.
Il giorno dopo i ragazzi hanno partecipato ai laboratori di musica e teatro, curati dalle docenti Denisa Matysová e Lucia Turčoková, durante i quali si sono divertiti a realizzare delle brevi performance ispirate a fiabe tradizionali. Le attività hanno riguardato soprattutto il movimento, il suono e la comunicazione corporea.
Il 18 marzo è stato dedicato all’escursione ad High Tatras, catena montuosa sul confine tra Slovacchia e Polonia, parte dei Carpazi, nota come il "più piccolo sistema alpino" d'Europa.
Di pomeriggio, invece, gli alunni hanno visitato una cioccolateria locale, la Nestville Chocolate, dove hanno potuto assaggiare diversi gusti di cioccolata calda ed hanno potuto decorare delle barrette di cioccolato con praline e cereali.
L’ultimo giorno di attività è stato dedicato all’esplorazione di Košice, la seconda città più popolosa della Slovacchia, famosa per le sue chiese, musei e fontana musicale, mentre, di pomeriggio, si è tenuta la cerimonia finale, seguita da una meravigliosa festa e consegna degli attestati. Durante la festa, la preside della scuola, Oľga Macková, ha ringraziato tutti i docenti, gli alunni e le famiglie ospitanti, per aver reso possibile lo svolgimento di questo progetto in totale armonia e serenità.
Quest’esperienza si è rivelata davvero positiva per i nostri alunni, i quali hanno potuto conoscere, apprezzare ed esplorare usanze e tradizioni diverse dalla loro.
Essi hanno potuto condividere momenti indimenticabili, sia con gli studenti slovacchi, che con quelli provenienti dalla Spagna e dalla Repubblica Ceca; tali momenti favoriscono non solo una crescita dei loro rapporti interpersonali ma anche del loro benessere fisico e psicologico, scopo finale del progetto.

From 15th to 20th March 2026, six students from our school, IIS Leonardo Da Vinci, accompanied by teachers Federica Cuoci and Francesco Colamatteo, participated in the second mobility of the Erasmus+ project KA220-SCH-9A235DB6 "Mind Matters: Cultivating Well-Being Across Borders," which took place in Prešov, Slovakia.
Our students, as well as those from Spain and the Czech Republic, were hosted by the families of Slovakian students, some of whom were in Italy last January for the first mobility of the project.
The activities were organized by teachers Katarína Dancáková and Silvia Krzáková, Erasmus coordinators of the host school, who warmly welcomed all the students and teachers.
On the first day, after a short presentation of the school, teachers Zuzana Dlugošová and Zuzana Kolpáková involved everyone with ice-breaking and team-building activities. They also proposed a “reflective journey” entitled Who Am I? focusing on the themes of self-awareness and emotional management. After lunch, students and teachers toured the town of Prešov and its main monuments.
On Tuesday, the students took part in music and drama workshops, led by teachers Denisa Matysová and Lucia Turčoková, during which they had fun creating short performances based on traditional fairytales. The activities focused on movement, sound, and communication through body language.
March 18th was dedicated to an excursion to the High Tatras, on the border between Slovakia and Poland, part of the Carpathian Mountains, known as the "smallest Alpine system" in Europe.
In the afternoon, our students also visited a local chocolate shop, Nestville Chocolate, where they sampled various hot chocolate flavors and decorated chocolate bars with pralines and sprinkles.
Thursday morning was dedicated to the exploration of Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city, famous for its churches, museums and the musical fountain.
In the afternoon there was the final ceremony, followed by a wonderful party and the awarding of certificates. During this celebration, the school's Headmaster Oľga Macková, thanked all the teachers, students and, in particular, the host families for supporting this project, because they offered hospitality, availability and created an atmosphere based on happiness and mutual respect.
This experience has been really positive for our students, who were able to learn about, appreciate, and explore other customs and traditions, different from their own.
They shared unforgettable moments with both the Slovak students and those from Spain and the Czech Republic; these moments fostered the growth of their interpersonal relationships and also their physical and psychological well-being, the ultimate goal of the project.
