Cultures in the Digital Age
Da ottobre 2025 a maggio 2026, le classi 5A, indirizzo Architettura, e 5G, indirizzo Grafica, dell’IIS Leonardo da Vinci di Aversa, sono state coinvolte nel progetto e-Twinning We Are Different, We Are One: Cultures in the Digital Age.
Il progetto, proposto dalla Turchia, ha visto la partecipazione dei seguenti paesi: Italia, Georgia, Grecia e Romania.
La società odierna, sempre più digitale, è caratterizzata da continue interazioni culturali. Comprendere somiglianze e differenze fra culture diverse diventa, quindi, fondamentale, al fine di rendere i nostri alunni futuri cittadini responsabili ed open-minded.
Il progetto ha voluto promuovere, esplorare e celebrare la diversità culturale attraverso una fusione fra costumi, tradizioni popolari e i nuovi strumenti digitali, che riescono a creare legami nonostante la presenza di differenze. Difatti, gli studenti di diverse scuole hanno creato dei prodotti digitali interattivi, come poster e video, per mostrare le proprie tradizioni, in relazione a festività, musica tipica e leggende popolari.

Dunque, grazie a questo progetto e-Twinning, gli studenti delle classi 5A e 5G hanno utilizzato la lingua inglese per scopi comunicativi, hanno migliorato le proprie capacità di gestione e utilizzo dei nuovi strumenti digitali, come Canva, Genially, Padlet e Mentimeter ed hanno anche sviluppato una maggiore collaborazione, creatività e pensiero critico, costruendo, così, un ponte fra culture diverse, eliminando pregiudizi e stereotipi e lavorando all’insegna del rispetto reciproco e della netiquette.

Cultures in the Digital Age
From October 2025 to May 2026, students from 5A (Architecture) and those from 5G (Graphics), of IIS Leonardo da Vinci Aversa, were involved in the e-Twinning project "We Are Different, We Are One: Cultures in the Digital Age”.
This project, proposed by Türkiye, included different countries, such as Italy, Greece, Georgia and Romania.
Today's increasingly digital society is characterized by constant cultural interaction. Understanding the similarities and differences among cultures is, therefore, essential to help our future students become more responsible and open-minded citizens.
The project aimed to promote, explore, and celebrate cultural diversity by integrating digital literacy and various Web 2.0 tools such as Canva, Padlet, and Genially, to present and share information in creative and interactive ways.
The following activities were carried out:
So, thanks to this e-Twinning experience, students from 5A and 5G used English for communication purposes, improved their digital competences by practicing safe and responsible online behavior and they also learnt how to collaborate effectively and think critically. They built bridges among different cultures, eliminating prejudices and stereotypes, following mutual respect and the rules of netiquette.
